Through SIGRobotics at UIUC, our group has built a low-cost mobile manipulator in collaboration with Hugging Face LeRobot. We are excited to announce that we have been working on a Dynamixel upgrade to modify our platform to use ROBOTIS components by using the Koch v1.1 arm, open RB 150 motor controller, and XL 430 Dynamixel motors for the mobile base. We have just completed building V1, and we are currently working on modifying our design to fit on the TurtleBot3 plates.
