Open RB-150 maximum dynamixel number?

Issue:
I using openRB-150 to control 18 DOF hummanoid (all ax-12)
It work pretty well, but sometimes suddenly all actuator stop work.
To recover this situation, I have to disconnect all four dynamixel cable to Open RB-150 and re-connect.
I heared that Open RB 150 support maximum 14 dynamixel ( I don’t know where i get this info)
Is this situation occured from this reason?
I give openrb external power source 12V5A (robotis SMPS 12V 5A PS-10)

It sounds like that maybe the A12s got into an error condition that can only be cleared by a complete power reboot? Via the 4 cable disconnects. Did you notice any DXL LED lighting up red? Next time that this situation happens, is there any way that you leave the whole robot “alone” including the 150 (i.e. do not reset power) and then use a U2D2 and tap back into the DXLs using a spare X3P compatible cable. Probably tap into a foot DXL is easiest. Next use DXL Wizard to see if you can read any error code from the DXLs?
