any suggestions on which motor and mechanisms can be used to achieve quiet tilting of screen display like how it is done in few robots like terminus attendant robot, temi etc. ?
The noise of the Dynamixel comes largely from the vibration of the built-in motor and gears, so I recommend the XM430-W210, which is equipped with a highly accurate coreless motor and gears. I feel that the XH430’s maxon motor is noisier than the XM430’s coreless motor.
In Japan, a professional user with similar requirements to yours actually used the XM430-W210-T and was satisfied with it.
