R+ Task 3.0 stuck while connecting using CM-530

Issue:

Hello, I can’t find a solution to the problem that happened to me, so I’m trying to create an issue.

If you try to connect the CM-530 to R+ Task 3.0 using a USB cable, it stops in a connected state.
When connected using RoboPlus Manager on RoboPlus 1, the CM-530 controller and 18 AX-12A are all recognized normally.
I wondered if the version of the firmware was the problem, so when I tried to recover and update the firmware using RoboPlus Manager’s controller recovery mode, it completed normally.
Device Manager also recognized the port as a “USB Serial Port” and installed a USB driver (Robotis_cdc_drv). However, the name that appears in Device Manager has not changed.
In R+ Motion 2.0, when you try to connect, the port itself is recognized as normal, but it does not connect without an error message.
In R+ Task 3.0, if you try to connect, the port itself is recognized as normal
As the title indicates, Connecting… screen and loading source are continuously spinning, so the program does not seem to stop.

Change the cable as well, and the same symptoms occur when using the extra CM-530.

What additional actions can I try?

DYNAMIXEL Servo:

AX-12A x 18

DYNAMIXEL Controller:

CM-530

Software Interface:

R+ Task 3.0, R+ Motion 2.0, Windows 11 23H4

  • R+ Task 2.0 is successfully connected

Yes. I had found that CM-530 works with TASK 2 only. TASK 3 works with CM-550 best.

Could you connect R+ Motion 2.0 with CM-530? I think that would be much more comfortable

You should be able to use all tools V 2 with CM-530
