RC-PWM Timeout Issues on Startup

Issue:

We are having issues with the timeout on the XL330 servos when using RC-PWM. The servos will automatically revert to protocol 2.0 if they do not detect a PWM signal at boot. However, sometimes the RC radio link takes longer than this timeout to pair so if you power on the receiver and servo at the same time, the servo will not work. This is especially bad when using a 900MHz radio that takes around 1-2 seconds to bind once the receiver is turned on.

Is there a way to increase this timeout period in the servo? On our 900MHz system, the servo reverts to Prot. 2.0 about 4/5 times resulting in the servo not working. We need a workaround.
