Hello all heavy Dynamixel users.
You may have experienced the problem of U2D2 being a micro USB terminal. I am also one of them.
I recently repaired ALOHA at a Japanese university. The ViperX300 Arm connects the USB cable to its back, but the area around the connector is not protected. Therefore, U2D2 itself had to be replaced.
With that experience fresh in my memory, I designed and Opened a PCB base that could protect the U2D2’s USB connector. I am using this myself and am very comfortable. How do you think?
