“…We have DYNAMIXEL motors in the gripper which gives us sufficient DOF to harvest in very tricky scenarios. Since the mushrooms we pick are destined for the fresh market, i.e. grocery stores and restaurants, we have to pick in such a way that we do not damage any of the mushrooms surrounding the target. There is a great deal of math and code behind our picking techniques but the with these motors we’re able to achieve excellent results…”.
