Issue:
The OpenCR works as expected for a time, sometimes months without issue, sometimes less than a week.
Eventually, without fail, the PC will boot up and give a Device Descriptor error for the OpenCR.
Reseating the device does not resolve and neither does uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
The only fix I’ve had any luck with is reflashing the firmware to the board.
Is this a known issue, is there any way to prevent this?
I have tried the above solutions as well as new cables and an entirely different PC. This is a public facing robot, so minimizing downtime is paramount.
